Our Youth Board

A group of young people outside in a field holding protest signs that read 'Fuel Us, Don't Fool Us', 'Don't Hide What's Inside', 'Fork The System', at the front of the group, there is a young Asian woman with long black hair wearing an emerald green shirt with a black tshirt underneath. She is holding a sign as she looks off to the side.

We are 70 passionate young activists who call out manipulation by food giants whenever and wherever we see it.

We drive high-impact campaigns on both a regional and national scale. We speak directly to decision makers – Government, MPs, and local mayors – and secure the public support of thousands. And we spread the word through national TV and radio appearances.

All this hard work is paying off. Big wins so far include a Government U-turn on free school meals, new junk food advertising legislation, and better enforcement of School Food Standards. Are we done? No way.

Together, we demand higher standards from food marketing, and higher standards from the food we eat every day. And we mobilise other young people to fight for better food: protesting outside Parliament, applying positive pressure to big business, and sharing our stories with the world.

But we’re more than that. We are friends. We are family. We are a movement — and we’re making waves across the country.
