In 2025, Young people stood up and delivered real systemic change.

In 2025 our young campaigners shook Big Food’s boardrooms, hit the headlines, and helped deliver real change.

After years of campaigning, we landed a massive win in 2025: the government finally introduced the protections from junk food advertising (online and on TV before 9pm) that our young people have been calling for.

And it didn’t happen by accident.

Our Youth Activists took over 365 ad spaces across London with one message

“We bought this ad space so the junk food giants couldn’t”

Our award-winning campaign COMMERCIAL BREAK flipped the script back onto the companies flooding our streets, screens and local communities with unhealthy products. By taking over ad spaces, we reclaimed a moment of peace in our daily lives. All over the country, we raised awareness of junk food ads.

People started noticing us, and it snowballed from there: sparking national headlines, millions of views on social media and support that rippled internationally.

Big moments give us the fuel to keep biting back. And that means we can make our mission even more meaningful.

We deserve a healthy childhood - but right now that’s not our reality

Influencing healthier policies

Across the country, young people worked directly with councils and decision-makers to reshape their local food environments - from presenting youth-led research in Oxfordshire, to helping influence healthier policies in Essex and Cheshire.
