Our activists are sick of the relentless junk food advertising everywhere they go — on streets, screens and on their way to school. Everyone — especially young people — deserves to live in a world where the Government builds a healthier environment for future generations.
From today, you will see less junk food ads online, and on TV before 9pm. These protections are a step in the right direction, but they’re not strong enough.
Pushing junk food ads off screens just pulls them onto streets. We all see these ads, especially when we start looking out for them. It's weird the lengths that big food companies will go to target us.
So, have you seen this in action?
Whether it’s doing ads with your favourite social media influencer or sponsoring your favourite sports team, how does junk food show up in your life? Are they putting ads at your bus stops, or on the streets of your daily walk?
Share your story, and we’ll use it to show that there are thousands of people backing a healthier future.
