Our Youth Board

We’re Bite Back activists: 70 young people who are standing up, ready to call out manipulation by food giants whenever and wherever we see it.
From the moment we’re born, we are surrounded by junk food. It’s everywhere — on our streets, screens, and schools.
Giant food companies flood our world with products, fill our screens with ads, and make our walks to school overwhelming, with bus stops and billboards plastered with unhealthy food. It’s time for change.
Whether we’re speaking directly to decision makers — Government, MPs, and local mayors — or showing up in the boardrooms of big food businesses, we’re turning up the volume.
And our work is paying off. Our big wins so far include securing a Government U-turn on free school meals, new junk food advertising legislation, and better enforcement of School Food Standards. This year saw our biggest moment yet: our #CommercialBreak campaign, taking over ad spaces in London so junk food giants can’t.
Are we done? No way.
Together, we demand higher standards from food marketing and higher standards from the food we eat every day. We mobilise other young people to fight for better food: protesting outside Parliament, applying positive pressure to big business, and sharing our stories with the world.
But we’re more than that. We are friends. We are family. We are a movement — and we’re making waves across the country. Are you ready to join us? Follow us on social media to get our latest updates:
