Peter Freedman

Peter was until 2020 Managing Director of the Consumer Goods Forum, where he helped to establish coalitions of the world’s leading consumer companies to address key environmental, health and social challenges – such as deforestation, modern slavery, plastic waste, and obesity. His other current roles reflect his interest in helping address these issues through collaboration between the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. They include chair of Spring Impact, a social impact consulting firm, Treasurer of Anti-Slavery International and advisor to TrueCode.org, a supply chain transparency start-up. Peter was previously a senior partner at McKinsey & Co where he remains a Director Emeritus.
